Deal of the Day: Midwest Airlines Summer Sale

Many in the Midwest know Midwest Airlines to offer “The best care in the air.” If you’ve never flown Midwest, then you may be unaware of the fresh-baked chocolate chip cookies that are prepared in-flight. Now you’re ready to fly Midwest, aren’t you?

Today’s Deal of the Day, is actually a push toward traveler education, as well as hooking you up with a great flight deal to a fun summer destination. Midwest and Frontier Airlines are merging, and because of it, they’re looking to provide a truly unique flying experience at affordable prices. Personally, I can attest to the enjoyment of flying on both airlines over the past decade, multiple times.

Midwest has always offered cabins decked out with a first/business class style set-up, never arranging more than two seats next to one another, and separating those two seats with a center console. Yeah. That’s in coach. Frontier was one of the first airlines to offer in-flight, personal entertainment options. Put it all together and I see a beautiful future of air travel, complete with warm, chocolate chip cookies!

The Midwest Airlines summer fare sale ends this Friday, so you’ll want to have a look at everything that’s offered. Don’t let the name of the airline fool you. While it is Midwest based, it serves most major U.S. cities, including New York’s LaGuardia Aiport (LGA), and Los Angeles International Airport (LAX).

If you are a Midwesterner looking to travel from Kansas City, Milwaukee or Omaha, you’ll find some stellar deals in the summer sale. Likewise for Boston residents looking to travel to the Midwest–you can head from Beantown to my hometown of B-town (Branson, MO) for about $260 round-trip.
