The readers of Executive Travel magazine have voted Marriott Rewards as the “Best Frequent Guest Program” in the eighth Leading Edge Awards survey. The survey included a total of 42 categories, including “Best Domestic Airline” (Delta); “Best International Airline” (Singapore Airlines); and “Best Carry-on Case” (Travelpro).
You can read the entire list of this year’s categories and winners at the Executive Travel website.
Marriott Rewards stood out from its competitors because the program focuses on providing quality customer services. Marriott Rewards is also less restrictive than many other rewards programs. For instance, Marriott Rewards does not enforce any blackout dates; the points are redeemable at 3,200 hotels around the world; and the points can be used to pay for car rentals, frequent flier miles, and cruises as well as rooms at Marriott International hotels.
Executive Travel isn’t the only organization to recognize Marriott Rewards as an outstanding program. It has also received honors from BusinessWeek, Business Traveler, and Global Traveler. Marriott Rewards also won a “Freddie Award” in 2009.
