I have long said that once the kids are in college, I’m checkin’ out for awhile. Destination: Japan. I was pretty excited recently when I caught wind of a great new site that has been of 9 Asian Tourism Boards. Today’s Deal of the Day–an introduction to DiscoverAsiaNow.com.

The site was established by tourism boards of Hong Kong, India, Japan, China, Korea, Macau, Philippines, Thailand and Singapore. I’m going to venture a guess that you’d like to vacation or explore one of the aforementioned. The site presents several deals to these destinations including airfare, hotel, adventures and a plethora of activities. Yeah. Plethora.

For true adventure seekers, you’ll even find a quick pull down menu displaying adventure in each of these countries.

This site gets me really excited. It’s easy to use, and some of these deals are pretty impressive. 11 days of exploration in ancient China–just over $1,100 per person. That includes airfare, all the “safety in numbers” touring activities, as well as accommodations in three different Chinese destinations.

For Japan? I love the fact that the Top 10 list for visiting Japan includes climbing Mt. Fuji. You know…for a leisurely stroll while visiting Japan, just have a quick climb of Mt. Fuji. I think my first 48 hours in Japan would consist of eating–that’s it. Digressing…

The site is somewhat of a baby. It’ll be interesting to see it grow, and fingers crossed, it will become the place to score great deals for Asian travel!
