Mastering wildlife photography is no easy task, but a new book by Uwe Skrzypczak will help photographers learn the necessary concepts and techniques required to capture stunning wildlife photos. A renowned photographer and active environmentalist, Uwe Skrzypczak teaches regular workshops on wildlife photography in East Africa. Whether you’re a seasoned photographer or someone who’s just getting started, Uwe’s book Wildlife Photography will equip you with the skills you need to produce beautiful images of wildlife in any habitat.

Topics covered include:

  • Equipment and accessories
  • Planning your trip
  • Conditions on the road
  • The right place at the right time
  • Image composition
  • Where to stay and daily routine
  • The light in East Africa
  • Migrations and mating seasons
  • Habitats and animal behavior
  • River crossings
  • The big cats, rhinos, giraffes, etc.

The book covers everything from equipment (camera and lenses), techniques (autofocus, exposure, etc) logistics for “on the road” workflow and tips on image editing. Skrzypczak has a true passion for wildlife and the book is also designed to showcase the beauty of East Africa, specifically the unique habitat of the Serengeti National Park.

Photography stops life in it's tracks and captures a moment never to be seen again. The moment of beauty, whether it is an animal, flower, person ect. The colors, the look will never be the same, but you have it in your hands. A time in life never to be again !!! Peace

What I love best about photography is the range of art - realistic, altered, b&w. The possibilities are endless.

I love photography because it is a way of looking at the world. What is important, what catches your eye and goes to your heart can be captured and cherised later by yourself and others.

I love photography because it gives me the ability to see things through other people's eyes as well as my own. It is the way we can capture a moment, a treasure in time, and hold onto it to enjoy again and again. Even an unskilled photographer can enjoy this hobby.
